From the first time I used this bike, I was amazed with it. I thank myself for choosing this, it’s all worth it. Assembling the parts was easy but I think it’ll be faster when the instructions were clearer. Here are few tips if ever you purchase this bike:

Brakes. When assembling the brakes, you have to hold the brake pads to the rims, then, tighten the brake cable. There’s no other way to do this. You will only get yourself pulling the brake lever and the brake pads will never touch the rims. Trust me. I just made this mistake and cut the brake cable. I swear, do not cut anything.

Derailleur. You should leave the front and back derailleur closest to the way they came. Note: Don’t ever mess with the two side by side screws that stated up and down, it will eventually screw you up.

This bike seems to be solid and I think it might require regular maintenance. Well, it’s all worth it.

It took me several hours to assemble this bike. It is not an issue for me. I then adjusted the brakes and front derailleur. It’s now good to go. What I love about this is its color. White makes all the difference. I even participated in an event and reached a top speed of 28 miles, yet the bike was still steady. Definitely this bike is highly recommended.

However, I broke my presta value on the front tire while pumping air. I don’t know exactly what happened or whose fault was it. But I replaced it with a new one and I don’t encounter that same problem after. For that, I’m giving this product 4 stars.

Actually, I always used to mountain bikes and I don’t see the point on spending much for a road bike just to find myself going back to my mountain bike. So I decided to purchase this model.

The item arrived pretty quickly from Amazon. I find the package heavily damage. I was worried about the bike, but fortunately, it only gained few scratches. I have no problem with assembling the bike. Upon seeing the finished product, the frame was eye-catching, other than that, the rest looks cheap.

Even with fine adjustment, the brakes were bad, the tires are easily punctured and the derailleur is horrible. I think it requires a professional adjustment. But with the money, I can’t complain.

For this bike, I made some upgrades and they were 10 times better! The tires are now Michelins Dynamic and brake calipers are Shimano SC. It cost me roughly $100. I plan on doing more upgrades in the future.

For those who are beginners, this may be good for you. But soon you will figure out it needs a very fine tuning.

This bike’s design is a perfect kill! That was one of the reasons why I bought this, and the other is because of the flip flop hub. I absolutely like the design, bmx handlebars and color palette. It is also easy to assemble. This bike was a gift. It’s good to know that the rider can switch back and forth whenever they want to, making it advantageous to those who are not familiar with the single speed and extra leg workout. The total cost of this bike makes it all worth it. Most bikes are around $300, excluding shipping fee.

The only problem I have is about their website. I was trying to contact their customer support since I mistakenly installed the fork of the bike. It just totally flew right over my head. However, the woman said that I better send an email to the website regarding the issue. I was like what the. I had this bike several weeks ago from online shopping. It came in a nicely-made package and in good condition. I have no problem with assembling the parts. It was easy and just took me about 45 minutes. Thanks to the basic tools I have with me and the easy to understand owner’s manual and Schwinn website. This bike has great speed and good handling. Though I upgraded the pedals (Shimano SPD clipless pedals), tires and rim tape. The original tires and rim tape seem to be made out of cheap material as it got easily ruptured. Nonetheless, the quality of the bike is good.

This product is less expensive; very light and fast (I think it can keep up with those that cost from $800 to $2,000); and it provides the user comfortable driving experience.

However, it is prone to flats, rim tapes need to be upgraded to a better quality; and not that attractive, but it’s well made, I can tell.

Still, this is a recommended bike. Not that bad at all.

As what most reviews say, this bike is certainly lightweight. It is eye-catching and you get what you pay for. It’s just that the tubing the use on the wheels seem to be cheap. In just 2 weeks, I had a flat tire. The source of the hole was a very small puncture in the tube. I opened up the tire and find that it was very thin. This bike is spelled as “great ride, great price”. It only took me about 30 minutes to assemble the parts. So easy, I don’t have problems with it. I like the feature of toe clips and water bottle cage, it comes in handy. This Takara Sugiyama bike comes with a blue and white front and rear tires, respectively. However, I removed the kick stand as I don’t feel like I need it. It looks cool but the quality of the tires is poor. I already had flat tire with just short rides. I suggest you spend some money for tire upgrade. I had a 20 year old bike, so the single-speed was not new to me. You can adjust the configurations according to your preferences. Above all, this bike is great – easy to assemble and come in a reasonable price. Since the tire is poor, I’m rating it 4 out of 5 stars. Spending more for tire upgrade is not a problem I think.
